Shall we talk about how much butter you're going to need to use for these? Nah......let's not. You'll enjoy them so much more if you don't know. I know a lot of the Tuesdays with Dorie bakers cut out a lot of the butter.....but man.....they were sooooo worth the calories. Let's face it, these are not something you're going to be eating everyday.......these are a special indulgence.
If you'd like to tackle these bad boys, check out the recipe on our hosts' blogs.....Lynn over at Eat Drink Man Woman Dogs Cat or Nicole at Cookies on Friday. And check out all fo the other baker's results here........Enjoy!

Hi, your Pecan Sticky Buns looks great. Unfortunately I did not like the gooey part of it (please forgive me!)
ReplyDeleteI've "decimated" and replaced the butter and were still fine.
Best greetings from Switzerland
They look lovely. I think we need to keep the amount of butter used a secret :)
ReplyDeleteI agree, they´re a once in a while indulgence and worth every bite!
ReplyDeleteI agree.. lets keep the butter a secret!! but its also because i knew how much went into one.. i manged to stop at one!! they are lovely as a special indulgence..spot on!! :)
ReplyDeleteI def. will not be eating these everyday! Yours look great:)
ReplyDeleteSimply beautiful! I don’t want to even think of the butter or calories! It’s a once in awhile treat!
ReplyDeleteThe butter and sugar on top is what creates that beautiful ooze. You can't skimp on that. As my mother taught me, there's just no substitute for real butter. Gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteI agree with you - it's not like we're making them throughout the month. It's just one batch!
ReplyDeleteSuch a treat! I thought the butter made these. And knowing how much was in there made it easier to share. ;)
ReplyDeleteAgreed. SO good!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous buns - great job!
ReplyDeleteI think that if you are going to have a treat, you might as well make it worthwhile :-)
ReplyDeleteLovely job
Yeah, let's not talk about the butter. These were delicious!

ReplyDeleteI don't mind about the calories so long as it's worth it :)
Saw these via Bacon Time...yes please!! These look perfectly sticky!
ReplyDeleteI would give my right arm for that. Seriously. Reminds me of my childhood. :)
